The Stowe Old Fashioned is newly renovated and filled with Vermont charm! 

Built in the 1800’s, this adorable square shaped home, with a bedroom nestled into each corner of the second floor, is the perfect spot in Stowe for your next family getaway. The charm that it exudes from the grand maple staircase, built-in hallway cubbies, antique closet door latches and detached garage to hold all your gear, make it the perfect hub for a weekend of Vermont magic and adventure!

 

Sitting on the main road of Rt 100, the house is walking distance to a major grocery store yet just a quick 3 min drive to the historic Stowe Village where you can stroll around, grab a coffee or glass of wine and browse the shops. 

 

When you’re ready for some fresh air and adventure you’re only 8 miles to the lifts at Stowe Mountain Resort. Psst… the house is located right across from the short cut that takes you the backway to the mountain—you can avoid the dreaded Stowe Mountain Road traffic when headed to the slopes!

 

After a day of fresh air and adventure, take the family just ten min down the road to the popular Lost Nation brewery for one of the best burgers you’ll ever have (a must try)! Or run the kids over to the Stowe Swimming Hole, 1 mile away, to get out that last bit of energy in the indoor pool.

 

At the end of the day, this home is well suited for relaxing in the evenings with the family. The upstairs has an always within range arrangement and the two living rooms downstairs allow for plenty of seating for the whole family to spend time together. The adults can enjoy hors d’oeuvres and cocktails while the kids are within sight watching a movie or playing games in their own beautifully appointed space. 

 

When it’s time to turn in, you’ll enjoy hotel quality beds and bedding for a great night’s sleep before the next adventure begins. A gem of a secret and a very unique location!

This home comes fully stocked with all the amenities, hotel quality towels, bedding, toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, Q-tips, cotton balls), coffee and tea bar with creamers and sugars, dish soap, sponge, paper towels, toilet paper, dish washer pods, laundry pods and more.

 

PLEASE NOTE: All eligible refunds are subject to a 6% cancellation fee to cover the credit card processing fees.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 14 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
